Don’t let the location fool you since the Port Authority is NYC’s most famous bus terminal, but starting today it will also become a shopping destination as SAVE FASHION set’s up shop.
Save Fashion is a sample-sale extravaganza featuring new fashion collections weekly. The month-long boutique is located in the new 2,500 square foot space in the Port Authority Bus Terminal and features an impressive list of fashion designers selling their wares at a discount of at least 50%. The collaboration between the Times Square Alliance, CFDA, and Refinery 29 will feature a rotating cast of designers which includes Rag & Bone, Charlotte Ronson, Rogan, and Helmut Lang. Hit hard by the sluggish economy, the pop-up shop will allow smaller names to reach a wider audience. Philippe von Borries, the founder of Refinery29, said, “The idea was to create a stylish environment where struggling designers could sell overstock and be seen by a wider audience.”
The temporary boutique opened this morning with items from 15 labels including Victoria Bartlett/VPL, Steven Alan, Gryson, and Earnest Sewn. Week 2 will bring an all new lineup including pieces by Rag & Bone, Acne, Helmut Lang and Rogan. The last week will feature all items still left at even lower prices. This week’s full rotation of designers can be found at savefashion.com. Save Fashion 641 8th Avenue @ 41st Street, NYC Mon-Wed, Fri-Sat 10-9pm Thursdays, 5-9pm Sundays, 11-7pm

It was nice reading your post. I needed to know such kind of information to update myself. I work in my friend’s boutique of flower girl dresses and also help in the online promotion.
