I LOVE TARGET! Tracy Feith’s collection for the super-store launches on May 17 and now it’s been announced that Anna Sui is next in line to design a collection.

Anna Sui will follow the lead of fellow designer Alexander McQueen and do a collection for Target under the Designer Collaboration series. The collection will hit 250 select stores on September 13 and also available online. And Gossip Girl fans have even more reason to be excited since the collection will be inspired by the shoes four leading ladies: Blair (Leighton Meester), Serena (Blake Lively), Jenny (Taylor Momsen), and Vanessa (Jessica Szohr).  

“When I was in Asia last year, all the young girls kept asking me about the different locations in New York City where the characters from ‘Gossip Girl’ live,” Sui said. Considering that these 4 charachters have totally different styles it will be interesting to see how she interprets their point of view into the collection. Sui is using materials like metallic jacquard, herringbone, silk, and chiffon with tulle, lace, and sequin detailing.
