keifernyodKiefer Sutherland turned himself into the police on Thursday evening in NYC to face the music over a fight with fashion designer Jack McCollough.  When Kiefer Sutherland arrived at the first precinct in New York City on Thursday evening, the actor was arrested, fingerprinted, photographed, and then charged with a misdemeanor before being released after two hours in police custody. The 24 actor arrived with his lawyer and went through the booking process inside the precinct house which included being frisked, fingerprinted and having a mugshot taken.

kiefersThis all comes as a result of a headbutt incident that took place at an after-party following the Met Costume Institute Gala on Monday evening. Sutherland allegedly headbutted fashion designer Jack McCollough of Proenza Schouler at Submercer, which is said to have started over Brooke Shields. Los Angeles prosecutors are investigating whether the arrest violates Sutherland’s current five-year probation term which is the result of a second DUI conviction in 2007. Sutherland is due in court on June 22.

Today, Jack McCollough was seen in NYC sporting nose bandages that look significantly more serious that the simple bandage he was photographed in earlier this week. McCollough’s rep said that the designer required surgery for his injuries after the alleged incident. “Mr. McCollough suffered a broken nose in three places as a result of the assault,” his rep said. “He received medical treatment last night after consulting with physicians.”
