Jennifer Hudson has been living a nightmare, although she was previously living a dream. An American Idol finalist, she went on to win Oscar and Grammy awards for her lucrative singing and acting career. Now, a mere 7 months after her mother, brother and nephew were brutally murdered in her childhood home in Chicago, Jennifer Hudson is ready to talk about the tragedy that rocked her world.
Hudson is speaking to Essence magazine about her pain and how she gets through the day. “I was always a mama’s baby. I’d go and sleep in her bed until I was 15 years old.” Hudson is currently engaged to David Otunga, a Harvard-educated-lawyer-turned-pro-wrestler, who told the magazine that one of Hudson’s biggest concerns after she decided to throw herself back into work was the thought of having to answer questions about the loss of her family. “We don’t talk about it,” says Otunga, who received her mothers blessing before he proposed to Hudson on her 27th birthday last September. “In this time when things seem so uncertain for her, there is certainty in our bond. She doesn’t have to worry about losing me. I’m always going to be right here.” To show her commitment, Hudson recently re-proposed to Otunga with a Neil Lane ring to match her own engagement ring, but confirms his chivalrous ways saying, “He is such a gentlemen, like, I sit in the car waiting because I can’t touch the door. I am not allowed!”
So how is Hudson coping with the greatest loss of her life? She relies heavily on her faith saying, ”The thing that keeps me going is knowing that God is in control. It’s like, if He placed me here then I must be prepared.”
Harrison Ford Confirms He’s Tying The Knot With Girlfriend Calista Flockhart
Rumors about the pairs engagement have been swirling for months that the movie super-star proposed to actress Calista Flockhart on Valentine’s Day, but the couple stayed quiet on the speculation even though she was seen wearing what appeared to be an engamenent ring. Now, Harrison has finally come clean about his plans after an encounter with a TV reporter yesterday. When asked if congratulations were in order, happy Harrison replied: “Yeah, thank you very much.” It will be Harrison’s third marriage and Calista’s first. The pair have been dating for more than seven years.
On a side note, I must add that Harrison Ford was my first love. I was four years old and my brothers took me to see ‘Star Wars’. From that day on, Han Solo has always been the apple of my eye.
Katie Price and Peter Andre, Hand-in-Hand Hours Before Split, Are Fighting It Out Via Telephone

Word of the pending divorce of British stars Katie Price & Peter Andre was particularly surprising since the couple had appeared hours beforehand holding hands and acting lovey-dovey at an awards show. I guess they really are good actors.
Hours before the broadcast, Katie resurfaced for the first time since fleeing the family nest following her split from Andre. Writing on the Twitter website, she told her fans: ‘Thank you for all your support, means so much to me.’ The first move towards a separation between the couple were seen yesterday as a friend carried large plastic boxes of children’s clothes from the former marital home.
So where in the world in Katie & Peter? He’s in Cyprus with his brothers and she’s in the Maldives with their two youngest children. The British press is reporting the pair had an explosive phone conversation yesterday after an angered Katie phoned Peter after learning he had flown off to the Mediterranean and left her disabled son, Harvey, at home with a nanny. Interesting accusations coming from someone who took off to the Indian Ocean only days earlier, without Harvey in tow. Andre fired back about his anger at her sneaking off with his 2 children Junior, three, and Princess Tiaamii, one. A source said: “All hell has broken loose. Family means everything to Pete and so the fact his two natural kids are with Kate on the other side of the world is a killer blow.” Adding fuel to the fire is the fact that Katie has picked the Maldives as her secret hideaway, the place they honeymooned three years ago. She is there with a female friend. In the meantime, he’s with his brothers in Cyprus which is his family is from Cyprus, although he was raised in Australia.

The big fight, captured on reality TV
Their three-and-half year marriage ended after a fight that was aired on their reality show last week. Peter was angry at newspaper pictures of Katie with a mystery man at a nightclub, who turned out to be gay.
