The cast of the “Twilight Saga: New Moon” have arrived in Montepulciano, Italy to the delight of fans who swarm the actors everywhere they go. With a population of only 14,000 residents, it’s not hard to spot a vampire during the film’s four-day shoot. The ancient Italian city is where the Volturi reside.

After attending the Cannes Film Festival, Robert Pattinson jetted off to Montepulciano, Italy to join the New Moon cast as they resume filming on the Twilight sequel New Moon. Co-stars Ashley Greene and Kristen Stewart flew to Italy from Vancouver together along with Stewart’s boyfriend, Michael Angaro. Greene immediately took advantage of the warm weather and hopped into the pool to cool off, something her character would never be able to do. Later in the afternoon, the group stopped by a local pizzeria followed by a dinner that evening at a local restaurant near their base location of Montepulciano. As Pattinson enjoyed a beer, Stewart rolled a cigarette as they relaxed with other members of the production.
The constant hounding by the paparazzi might have gotten to Kristen Stewart, who was spotted giving shutterbugs the middle finger during a ladies lunch with her cast-mates Dakota Fanning and Ashley Greene.
