Yesterday I posted the alleged mugshot of ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ Danielle Staub in the out-of-print book Cop Without A Badgeas well as the secrets about her shady past involving drugs, stripping, and husband stealing. The book revealed a woman named Beverly Merrill, who closely resembles Danielle Staub, was a coke whore, felon, and a stripper who went by the name Danielle. The book, about felon turned informant Kevin Maher, described Merrill as an 80’s coke queen who stripped for a living, and may have been naked dancing it as late as 1992. When they meet at a drug dealer’s party in Miami, he describes her thus: She was brunette. Long, perfectly shaped legs poked out of her leather hot pants just as provocatively as her braless breasts strained against her low-cut blouse.” And no, she wasn’t wearing any underwear. After she and Maher have “explosive sex” the pair eventually get serious and start dating, even though he is married at the time. The relationship eventually ends over her cheating ways.

Now, Gawkeris reporting that Danielle Staub IS in fact Beverly Merrill. A quick public records search confirmed that Danielle Staub used to go by Beverly Merrill, as well as both Danielle Maher and Beverly Maher, as in the Maher who’s in Cop Without a Badge. Or at least that someone with the same Social Security number went by all four names at dozens of addresses in New Jersey and Miami. OMFG

Also, Gawker has two of the pages from the book that discuss when Maher met Beverly Merrill aka Danielle Staub at a drug party in Miami. She was on probation at the time for extortion, kidnapping, and possession. Sounds like a real winner.
