Target is really becoming a shopping destination after collaborations with high-end designers such as Alexander McQueen, Anya Hindmarch, Botkier, and Tracy Feith. Now, the company has announced that Carlos Falchi will team up with the mega-store to design a handbag collection for its eighth accessories designer collaboration.

Falchi is known for incorporating luxury skins into his handbags such as python, crocodile, snakeskin….you get the idea. His bags are available at high-end stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus start around $2,000. So it’s surprising that Target will collaborate with a designer that embodies rich, luxurious (and costly) products. WWD is reporting that his Target line will offer an affordable collection of what Falchi is know for incorporating “faux snakeskin handbags in jewel tones such as plum and teal with contrasting shades of brown, black and gray. Some handbags will utilize collage or patchwork techniques.”

The 13 pieces will debut online and in stores on October 11^th through December 27. Mark your calendars.
