There are good 80’s and bad 80’s and being a child of the 80’s I know what was good the first time around and what isn’t worth bringing back. Imagine my shock when I get my daily newsletter from RackedNY and see this horrid posting about American Apparel launching a line of colorful scrunchies. Thankfully, their opinion in this matter is the same as mine and that’s certain things should stay in the 80’s, this being one of them. Carrie Bradshaw would be disgusted considering she made it perfectly clear that New York women do NOT wear scrunchies. Who would even buy this? Considering there are non-snagging hair elastics in an array of colors to match your haircolor, there is no reason anyone should purchase one of these.
