The mystery surrounding David Carradine’s passing continues to surprise as details surrounding his death are revealed. But just when you thought things couldn’t get any more bizarre, or disturbing, the Thai press does the unthinkable and publishs a grainy photo showing the dead body of David Carradine how he was found in his hotel room. People have been sending me this photo to post since Saturday afternoon, but I will NOT be publishing this awful and disturbing picture. Have they no respect for the dead?
Family members of David Carradine are “profoundly disturbed” by the publication of a forensics photo that allegedly shows the late actor at the scene of his death. A grainy photo published Saturday on the cover of the tabloid Thai Rath shows a naked body suspended from a clothes bar in a hotel closet, with hands apparently bound together above the head and feet on the floor. The paper did not indicate the source of the image, but Thai police believe it’s a picture of Carradine’s body taken by a forensics team that examined the Bangkok, Thailand hotel room where his body was discovered last week. The shocking photo is disturbing and even reveals tattoos on the lower half of his nude body.
Oviously, his family is outraged by the disgusting display of so-called journalism and is threatening legal action against any media outlet that publishes the photo. Not surprisingly, there doesn’t appear to be much concern about possible litigation, or the lack of humanity, since internet sites have been posting the slightly blurry photo for all to see. A spokesperson for Carradine’s family released a statement saying that the family was “profoundly disturbed by the release in Thailand of photographs taken at the scene of David Carradine’s death.” The statement adds: “The family wants it understood that, per (family) attorney Mark Geragos, any persons, publications or media outlets will be fully prosecuted for invasion of privacy and causing severe emotional distress if the photos are published.” Geragos has also requested that the FBI investigate David’s mysterious death and the family is seeking an independent autopsy by famed forensic pathologist to determine whether another person could have been involved.

Oh for God’s sake the man was into kinky sex and died in the process. Just because he’s an actor doesn’t make him different than any other Joe Shmoe out there who’s into that kind of thing. Now they are trying to make it look like he was murdered. The door was locked from the inside which would be quite the trick if someone else were in the room with him and then left the scene. People should just let the whole thing go for the sake of his poor family. It’s bad enough that they have to deal with this embarassment.

What I find sad is that his family keeps feeding the machine that is causing their grief. They could have had the autopsy done when he arrived in the states. Press release of we don’t think it was suicide, please respect our privacy, etc and its all done. Calling the FBI and Mark Geragos just fed the flames and the Thai government leaked the photo to defend themselves from the crap of all the conspiracy theories.
The guy played with fire a long time evidently and finally got burned. RIP Bill.

There’s no conspiracy here. In Thailand all unusual or particularly gruesome deaths are printed in the newspapers.

Horrible and disturbing photos are commonplace in the Thai language newspapers. Gory pictures of dead people appear every day, it is just a fact of Thai culture and obviously sells newspapers. This actual picture appears to be fraudalant.
