Monday night’s season premiere of “Weeds” showed what appeared to be a dance ambush in the middle of a crowded public place. It’s called a flash mob and it’s when a large group of people suddenly assemble in a public place to perform an act for a brief time before quickly dispersing.

I’ve seen flash mobs on the news a few times, but never in person so how fitting was it the very next day I catch this clip on the news. A group of dancers, wearing gold lame Hammer Pants, flashmob a trendy store and surprise hipsters in skinny jeans. The event was to promote MC Hammer’s new A&E reality show, “Hammer Times,  which will explore Hammer’s family life. Check out the older gentleman with the blazer. Hilarious.
