Whatever Madonna wants, Madonna gets

Madonna has told friends and family that she had never given-up hope of taking Mercy Stateside to be united with David Banda the little boy she adopted from Malawi when she was married to Ritchie. So it shouldn’t come as that much of a surprise that Madonna will be able to adopt Malawian toddler Mercy James after all. Madonna’s attorney Alan Chinula claims that three Malawian appeal court judges will reverse the original verdict, with the final decision to be announced next Sunday at Malawi’s Supreme Court of Appeal. Chinula claims that he has persuaded two of the three appeal judges to alter their decisions and that the third will comply too.

Madonna’s original application was denied on the grounds that she had not lived in the African state for 18 months. Judge Esme Chombo originally stated: “The issue of residence, I find, is the key upon which the question of adoption rests and it is very bedrock of protection that our children need, it must therefore not be tampered with.”  But Information Minister Patricia Kaliati backed the singer, claiming she had donated thousands of dollars into building a day care center and had helped the nation’s impoverished country.

Adam Lambert Finally Says ”I’m Gay”

Adam Lambert, the talented 27-year-old California native who should have won American Idol finally cleared up months of speculation on his sexuality in an exclusive interview with Rolling Stone magazine. “I don’t think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear that I’m gay,” Lambert told the magazine. ”I’m an entertainer, and who I am and what I do in my personal life is a separate thing. It shouldn’t matter. Except it does. It’s really confusing.” The talented Lambert, currently dating interior designer Drake LaBry, told the magazine: “I’m proud of my sexuality –I embrace it. It’s just another part of me.”

Lambert also took a swing at former American Idol contestant Clay Aiken, who waited years to finally come out, saying, “I didn’t want the Clay Aiken thing. I need to be able to explain myself in context.”

Phil Spector’s Wigless Mugshot Posted on The Smoking Gun

Gasp, he’s bald. Is it really that much of a shock? I was curious to see him without the wigs considering it’s not humanly possible for an individual to sport an afro one day and then a cropped, Elvis do the next. Now that Phil Spector is a ward of the California state prison system, the wig-loving murderer has been forced to go au natural. Spector’s mug shot shows the 69-year-old in the buff, no longer concealed by one of the jaw dropping wigs he wore during his criminal trials. Spector, who was sentenced last month to 19 years in prison, was photographed after arriving last week at the North Kern State Prison Reception Center in Delano.

Britney’s Finally Dating a Normal Guy

Britney Spears has been unlucky in love in the past, but her romantic life appears to be looking up since it’s revealed that she’s dating her agent, Jason Trawick. After a rocky few years, Brit can use the level of stability that Trawick can offer and her family has given the relationship their seal of approval. Trawick has been photographed with the pop star several times recently fueling speculation if the couple was dating, but Britney remained mum. They were spotted in the Caribbean last month, where Britney was joined by her father Jamie, brother Bryan and sons Sean Preston, three, and Jayden James, two. And last year he was seen by her side on the beach in Costa Rica, where she stayed at Mel Gibson’s property.

Sources say that Britney had ‘always had a crush on Trawick, who is one of her brother Bryan’s best friends. The pair is planning to take a holiday once the star’s tour is over, but that could be while since Britney announced she will tour Australia in November for the first time.
