The Pirelli Calendar doesn’t debut until 2010, but we’ve already gotten a preview on what’s to come next year. In case you don’t know, the Pirelli Calendar is an iconic annual publication that’s famous for its limited availability because it is not sold and is only given as a corporate gift to a restricted number of important Pirelli customers and celebrity VIPs. The Pirelli Calendar is the world’s only prestigious and exclusive “girly” calendar, featuring a steamy, mostly nude catalog of the world’s most beautiful women. Appearing in the calendar is a mark of distinction for those chosen and over the years stars and models have graced the pages such as Elsa Benitez, Sienna Miller, Naomi Campbell, Gisele Bundchen, Cindy Crawford, Lauren Bush, Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima, Hilary Swank, and many more. The 2010 calendar was shot by legendary photographer Terry Richardson last month in Bahia, Brazil. Italian Vanity Fair has the details on the lovely ladies who will appear in next years fanciful feast for the eyes, which includes Daisy Lowe, Georgina Stojiljkovic, Eniko Mihalik, Catherine McNeil, Lily Cole, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Miranda Kerr, Ana Beatriz Barros, Gracie Carvalho, Marloes Horst, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Richardson’s goal this year was to use “no makeup, no reflectors — only the flash of the camera — no branded clothes or jewelry, no girls altered surgically.” Of the thousands of photographs taken, fifty images will make the final cut when the calendar debuts on November 19 in London.

These behind-the-scenes shots feature an array of models going topless and shedding their inhibitions for the new Pirelli calendar. In one pose, model Lily Cole lies topless in a shallow pool, wrapping her arms seductively around her body. In another photo, the entire cast of lovely ladies line up alongside photographer Terry Richardson topless with nothing more than a teeny bikini covering them. He must have been in heaven.
