Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning are currently in Los Angeles filming the Joan Jett biopic The Runaways. The pair has completely transformed into their characters, shedding anything previously associated with the way they look. Stewart is rocking a dark mullet, while Fanning is sporting heavy makeup (me likie) and a shaggy do. Both ladies look fabulous.

Stewart and Fanning were seen jumping on a car and kicking over a garbage can on the set of The Runaways in Los Angeles on Thursday. The film documents Joan Jett’s all-teen girl rock band that formed in Hollywood, California in the mid-70s. The Runaways, which also stars Scout Taylor-Compton and Hannah Marks, hits theatres next year.

In Twilight news, fans are happy to know the wait is over because the third film adaptation of the vampire saga has been given a start date by Summit Entertainment. Eclipse will begin production August 17, and will be directed by horror helmer David Slade.

Eclipse, the third installment in the Twilight Saga, furthers the tale of the love triangle between Kristen Stewart’s Bella Swan, Taylor Lautner’s Jacob Black and Robert Pattinson’s Edward Cullen.

Eclipse is my favorite book in the entire Twilight Saga and I cannot wait to see how they interpret it on the big screen. The love triangle between Bella-Edward-Jacob reaches a climax, the vampire newborns are on the loose, and my favorite character, Jasper, is given a bigger role after revealing his intense background.
