I’ve been hesitant to write about the budding romance between actress Kate Hudson and Yankees baseball player Alex Rodriguez since there hasn’t been any photos of them together…until now.

Kate Hudson has been spotted all over the Eastern seaboard following the Yankees and her man, Alex Rodriguez. The original “Band-Aid,” who usually dates rock stars, seems to have moved onto athletes and couldn’t have picked a better specimen since there is nobody hotter than the sexy Rodriguez.

The Yankees were in California for a three-game series against the Angels, so A-Rod joined his new lady love over the weekend for a romantic dinner and shopping at Barney’s New York in Beverly Hills, where they were allowed to shop in privacy after the store had closed for the day. Photographers caught the pair driving down Sunset Blvd on the way home in a Cadillac SUV.

While A-Rod was at the ballpark, Kate lounged by the pool in her bikini and played with her son, Ryder Robinson. The Yankees ended up loosing all three games against the Angels, but A-Rod didn’t look too upset since he had Kate to comfort him.
