Orlando Bloom yesterday in NYC

Thieves raided the Los Angeles home of Orlando Bloom, making away with belongings worth about $500,000.

High-end watches, jewelry and cash are thought to have been stolen, after burglars entered the Hollywood Hills home through a window. The English actor was not at the house at the time and a relative discovered the break-in early this morning. Orlando immediately headed home from New York to make a list of the missing items and talk to police.

While Orlando was in New York, Kerr attended last night’s ESPY Awards in Los Angeles. The 32-year-old has recently been house hunting in Malibu with his girlfriend.

Orlando lives in the house with his girlfriend, Miranda Kerr, who is a model for Victoria’s Secret and the coveted Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Orlando, the star of Pirates of The Caribbean and The Lord of The Rings, has spent a ‘considerable sum’ upgrading security at the home since buying it two years ago.
