British actress Anna Friel has been causing a stir over her nude profile in the August  issue of Vanity Fair UK. The 33-year-old starred on ABC’s “Pushing Daisies,” which was canceled after its second season and a role opposite Will Ferrell in this summer’s “Land of the Lost,” raised Friel’s profile in the US. Now, the beauty is appearing on newsstands across the nation… in the nude.

Friel is featured on the cover of the August issue of Vanity Fair magazine with voluminous Bridgette Bardo-like hair, loads of jewelry, and not much else. While a strategically-placed elbow hides the actress’ assets on the magazine’s cover, the series of shots inside taken by photographer Kai Z Feng aren’t as modest. The beautifully done photos are featured in Vanity Fair Plus Jewelry, a packaged insert that accompanies the August issue. The images are fun and fashionable, yet the clothes play second fiddle to the jaw dropping jewels.
