Supermodel Linda Evangelista was a vision of immaculate beauty as she posed for a religious-themed photo shoot in New York. Styled by Camilla Nickerson for W magazines November 2009 Art issue, the 44-year-old supermodel was a vision of beauty in a show stopping off-white gown with yellow roses tied to her wrists, a large head dress and three chains with cross pendants hanging from her neck. Linda stood on a stage as she was carried by a number of men for the elaborate shoot which appeared to recreate a religious procession held in Seville, Spain during Holy Week.

Linda, who famously said: ‘We don’t wake up for less than $10,000 a day’, has been back on top in recent months as the revival of the supermodel continues. With big name brands turning to familiar faces in the wake of the economic downturn, the model recently was the face of Prada’s Autumn/Winter lace look campaign and was appointed L’Oreal’s international spokesperson last November.
Linda has admitted that maintaining her supermodel looks is an effort, even for supermodels, and admitted to Botox saying: ‘How do other women feel when they see the pictures? Models are not superhuman. We grow old.”
