Sean Lennon and his girlfriend, model Kemp Muhl, have recreated the iconic Rolling Stone cover of Lennon’s parents, Yoko Ono and John Lennon, taken by Annie Leibovitz.

The picture, which was photographed by Terry Richardson, was taken for the fall issue of Purple magazine. Sean stays fully clothed in the photo, playing the role of his mom Yoko Ono, while Muhl is totally nude and curled up against his side in the role of John Lennon.

But it’s not the only eye-catching image in the new issue of Purple’s fashion edition since you can also see male model Baptiste Giabiconi posing naked as a woman in heels by Karl Lagerfeld.

The MTV Video Music Awards list of attendee’s just got hotter with the announcement that “Twilight” stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will appear on the show to debut an exclusive expanded trailer for “New Moon,” the second film in the vampire saga.

The film’s first trailer premiered during this year’s MTV Movie Awards, and now the VMAs are shaping up to cause another fan frenzy for Twihards. Also, on the day of the show, MTV.com will debut the first single off the “New Moon” soundtrack, the Death Cab for Cutie tune “Meet Me on the Equinox.” The “New Moon” soundtrack drops on October 20.

The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards will take place September 13 at 9 p.m. ET.
