The luxury market has hit a low with Fendi’s recent launch of their fabulous Peekaboo bag lined in… skunk fur.

Fendi’s decision to launch such a repulsive choice of fur is quite surprising considering the dismal economic climate. While fashionistas are investing in fur and quality skins Fendi must have decided it was time to shake things up a bit. Considering the sky-high price of $1,970 I cannot imagine anyone who would deem this investment worthy or luxurious in any way.

I do adore the Fendi brand so it pains me to knock a handbag from the iconic label. And even though the bag itself is fabulous the black and white fur blazing down the front cries out fashion roadkill. This is one trend I can certainly say I’ll never partake in.
