Audrey Tautou is the quintessential French gamine and the essence of chic. With impeccable style and elegance there is nobody more brilliant to portray iconic fashion designer Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel in the upcoming biopic “Coco Avant Chanel,” which chronicles the fashion designers rise from obscure beginnings to the heights of the fashion world.  Like Chanel herself, Tautou embodies style and sophistication in everything she wears.

On a press tour to promote the movie on Tuesday at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo, the French actress attended an afternoon photo session wearing a (you guessed it) Chanel black skirt suit. The black crepe suit featured a cropped jacket and black silky shirt.

Audrey Tautou brought out the big guns for the evening event where she wore, what else, Chanel. Decked out in the classic Chanel look of black and white, Tautou wore a white lace flutter sleeved top decorated with petite black ribbon with a black leather skirt.

Tres chic!
