Forgive the delay in loading these photo’s from last week, but Fashion Week has pretty much taken over my life causing me to fall behind on everything.

Thursday night I attended the Teen Vogue block party for Fashion’s Night Out on Bleecker Street in NYC. In addition to a fabulous fashion show, which featured designers from the block, they hosted Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen (Jenny Humphrey) and her band, The Pretty Reckless.

I am still baffled at how I ended up in the front row, but I did and was able to capture Taylor up close and personal. The 16-year-old appeared on stage looking like she had been doing a strip-tease for her boyfriend when an intruder walked in and forced her to throw on a cover up. That’s how I would describe look.

With platinum long blond messy locks and dark smouldering eyes, Momsen oozed rocker-chic and took the stage wearing a mens white button down shirt which coquettishly covered her black bra, black sequin panties and black garter belts. Momsen was able to navigate the stage with super high stilettos and rocked out on stage like a pro.

Looking young and hip she has a stage presence that makes you think she’s been doing this forever. Her sexy, raspy voice sounds far older than her tween years and she moves like a woman with a past. And the music is actually good. I was expecting to write her off as another rocker-wannabe, but I was pleasantly surprised by her performance.
