Uber stylist Rachel Zoe unveiled her collection of haute hippie looks from the Bryant Park tents at New York Fashion Week on September 12.

Ever since her Bravo TV reality show, “The Rachel Zoe Project,” debuted last year I have become obsessed with the fur vests she is always seen wearing. And last week when I attended the Prabal Gurung fashion show and spied Rachel in a black fur vest I went bananas because she is so adorable, stylish and impeccably dressed.

When images of her debut collection leaked I was thrilled to see three affordable versions of her retro-glam faux fur vests at super reasonable prices. Knowing that the vests were sure to sell out, I started logging into QVC at 7:30pm, thirty minutes before the live show started to secure my vest in Red Fox (other colors were chinchilla and black). A few minutes before 8pm the vests were finally loaded online and I snatched one fast and with shipping the total came to a super reasonable $90.

Debating whether I should purchase the chinchilla faux-fur vest I logged back in at 8:30pm to find the selection of vests completely sold out with QVC offering a wait-list option. In addition the long sleeve ultra suede reversible wrap and the scarf sold out. In fact, the collection sold out within Rachel hitting the airwaves at 10pm EST.

The collection will be made up of accessories, outerwear (see faux snakeskin coat), sunglasses, vests and scarves. With prices ranging from $32.50 to $130 everyone can afford to get a little Zoe.
