Lady Gaga debuted her latest look at Marc Jacobs fashion show during New York Fashion Week and once again takes the cake for most outrageous outfit.

Lady Gaga, who arrived late at the fashion show and forced to stand, watched from the entrance while holding hands with Jacobs’s partner, Lorenzo Martone. After the show, she ran straight backstage, telling the waiting photographers, “I need to see Marc first . . . please.” And not only did she find Marc, but she found Madonna as well for an air-kiss and a photo-op. So what did the pop divas think of the show? “I loved it, I loved it, I loved it,” Madonna enthused, while Lady Gaga expounded, “Every season still takes my breath away. It was breathtaking. I love Marc Jacobs. Life is a red carpet, and tonight the red carpet is his.” She continued, “The show was amazing. I love the ballet scenes and the romantic ruffles, the Japanese makeup…When you’re watching Marc Jacobs, life is a stage. I was hyperventilating.”

Lady Gaga’s, whose attire was toned down for the fashion show itself, arrived wearing a Marc Jacobs black and silver dress, studded black mask, gloves, dress and a white blazer to the event. Meanwhile, Madonna opted for a sheer black lace skirt paired with a leather jacket and thigh-high boots. Her accessory of the night: 22-year-old model Jesus Luz.

After the show, The Material Girl said that comparisons to the newcomer Gaga made her feel ‘very flattered’. Madonna complimented the star on her style: ‘She looks like she’s going to a carnival in Venice, very beautiful.’

For the Marc Jacobs after-party, co-hosted by Jacobs and V magazine, Gaga shed her demure show look and opted for a radical outfit that had her glowing (literally).

In a see-through red lace catsuit, eye mask and a sun-like spiky hair piece, Lady GaGa performed at the shows after-party. Gaga’s modesty was on display and barely covered by a teeny-weeny red g-string a strategically placed ruffle on top. The singer spread her legs and lifted her foot to the keys to play piano on stage for a rendition of “Poker Face.”

Channeling Lady Gaga and Madonna’s underwear-as-outerwear look, models strutted down the catwalk in Madonna-style cone bras in glossy brown leather and pale blue silk.
