The Examiner uncovered an eerie coincidence with the release dates of “Twilight’s” second and third installments: “New Moon” and “Eclipse.”

bellaReading this makes me think of the Pink Floyd / Wizard of Oz coincidence. In case you don’t know what I am referring to, if you start the album “Dark Side of the Moon” during the opening of the movie, the music will offer a narrative of the events occurring with the movie. I’ve tried it and it worked. Now it turns out “Twilight” might have something similar.

taylor shirtlessOn November 16th, the cast of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” will descend on Los Angeles for the movie’s premiere. November 16th will also be the date of a legitimate new moon according to the lunar phase calendar.

Eerie enough for you?

wolf pack shirtlessTurns out “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” may have a similar coincidence with the premiere date. On June 26, 2010, four days before the release of “Eclipse,” a partial lunar eclipse will occur with the next eclipse, a total eclipse, not due until December 21, 2010).

Good Luck Getting Your New Moon Tickets

robshirtlessThe third installment of the “Twilight” series, “New Moon,” doesn’t open for two more months, but already tickets for opening night are selling out across the country due to advance ticket sales for the November 20 release date.

MovieTickets.com says more than a dozen of its show times are gone and Fandango reports that “New Moon” is responsible for more than half (57%) of recent online ticket sales.
