Some people are shocked, but I am in awe. Eva Longoria-Parker is a gorgeous woman with a fierce body and a sizeable bank account which allows her to indulge in fabulous fashions. Longoria-Parker put on display her huge wardrobe of designer dresses as she hosted last night’s Alma Awards, which will premiere on TV tonight.

The Desperate Housewives actress turned her awards ceremony hosting gig into a catwalk display of the latest gowns, as she sashayed around in a stunning series of eight different gorgeous gowns.

The 34-year-old was presenting the ALMAs in Los Angeles, a ceremony which honors outstanding Latino artistic achievement in TV, film and music. Fellow Hispanic stars Penelope Cruz and Salma Hayek also attended the event, with Cruz collecting the film actress award for Vicky Cristina Barcelona and Hayek receiving the Anthony Quinn award for Industry Excellence. The annual ceremony is so popular it has become known as the Latin American Oscars.

But Longoria Parker had all eyes on her as she sped through costume changes, each time displaying an even more glamorous look than the previous one.

Hitting the red carpet at the beginning of the night, Eva Longoria-Parker dazzled in a silver strapless tube dress which hugged every curve and stopped just below the knee.

Starting out the evening in dramatic fashion, Eva sported a black and white tulle dress with a deep plunging neckline in a floral print. Next she opted for color with a Kelly green one-shoulder gown with gathered bodice and bow sleeve.

One of my personal favorites was a sparkling stunner that oozed Hollywood glamour. With her hair worn down and just a simple pair of diamond earrings, Eva looked smashing in a strapless silver sequined gown with fitted bodice and flared skirt with tulle edging.

My other favorite of the night was a slinky one shoulder white silk shantung column dress (Angel Sanchez?) with bow detail and fishtail skirt. This style is very similar to the dress Eva wore to her wedding, which was designed by Angel Sanchez.

Later in the show, Longoria –Parker opted for a dramatic pewter gray slinky gown. The sweetheart neck dress was form fitting and appeared to have draped sleeves which hung off her arm seductively.

Other looks worn during the show were a mauve ruffled tier one shoulder dress with ruched bodice and layers of ruched tulle cascading down the skirt as well as a sexy strapless metallic fitted dress.
