“The City” star Olivia Palermo just announced she is collaborating on a statement necklace with jewelry designer Roberta Freymann. Yay!

I often gush about my love for bib necklaces, the bigger and bolder the better. When it comes to the ideal statement necklace my heart belongs to Roberta Freymann: Queen of the jewel encrusted bib necklace.

Olivia Palermo is also a devotee of Roberta Freymann and she is often seen wearing the Wine Drop Necklace in navy blue, a statement piece which oozes luxury and over-the-top glamour which we both own. While at London Fashion Week, Palermo revealed that collaborated with Roberta Freymann to design two necklace styles that will be sold in Freymann’s Upper East Side store. In addition, they are working on an “exclusive retail deal, probably in [Henri Bendel].” I can’t wait!

Palermo has been photographed wearing the necklace multiple times and her flair for pairing it with everything from dressed-down striped-tees to red carpet events made me realize you don’t have to go for such a matchy-match approach when creating a look.
