Marc Jacobs, creative director of Louis Vuitton, and British supermodel, Naomi Campbell, have teamed up to collaborate on a new project to support The White Ribbon Alliance, a foundation dedicated to reducing maternal mortality.
Campbell, who is a Global Ambassador for the White Ribbon Alliance, made a special visit to the Louis Vuitton headquarters in Paris, recently, to choose the bag. The one selected is a hunter green monogrammed bag made of khaki and metallic leather with natural leather trim from the Spring / Summer 2010 collection. A portion of the proceeds from all sales of the bag will be donated to the foundation

Campbell said of the bag: “I think it’s going to sell really well.”
The handbag, which will retail for $2,800, will be available at Louis Vuitton’s network of 439 stores starting in March. The launch coincides with the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day that month.
