I am obsessed with Isabel Marant’s studded suede booties, one of fall’s hit stompers. A perfect example of good 80’s, the fabulous footwear caused a fashion frenzy at Paris Fashion Week after French Vogue’s Emmanuelle Alt wearing the brand new booties just hours after the show. The fold-over style and cone heel reminds me of a pair of black suede booties I wore in the 80’s, but the metal studded detail with silver hardware buckle oozes rocker-chic.

An investment at $1325, these perfectly slouched boots can be worn with all of fall’s highlights including skinny jeans, leggings and miniskirts. Plus, the silver hardware adds drama to dark wardrobes requiring spicing up. Sienna Miller has been spotted wearing her studded boots perfectly paired with everything from jeans and dresses and Lindsay Lohan was photographed wearing them in Elle Magazine.

If the $1325 price tag is too much, check out Jeffrey Campbell’s Ankle Bootie, which bares an uncanny resemblance and at $159, won’t break the bank.
In other Isabel Marant news, the designer plans to FINALLY open a boutique in New York City’s Soho neighborhood. The shop will be located at 55 Greene Street and open in February 2010. In addition to Isabel Marant’s signature collection, the boutique will also carry her gently priced Etoile collection, plus jewelry and accessories.
