HBO’s “True Blood” is THE vampire show for the over 25 set with dark plotlines and a super sexy cast (hello Alexander Skarsgard). On television and Saturday night the cast of “True Blood” cleaned house at Spike TV’s Scream 2009 Awards winning a total of four awards — tied with “Twilight.”
Held at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, the Scream awards honored the best in science-fiction, horror, fantasy and comic book-inspired movies and TV shows.

Vampy co-star couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer took home Best Horror Actor Female and Best Horror Actor Male during the night’s ceremony. Collecting two more trophies throughout the evening, “True Blood” snatched up the Best TV Show Award, along with Best Villain for Alexander Skarsgard.

“Twilight” also collected four awards: Best fantasy film, best fantasy actors for stars Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart (who weren’t in attendance Saturday) and breakout performance for co-star Taylor Lautner, who introduced world-premiere footage from the film’s next installment, “New Moon.”
You can catch all the Scream Awards action when the show debuts on Spike TV on Tuesday, October 27th.

Meanwhile, “True Blood’s” super sexy villain, Alexander Skarsgard, appeared to get cozy with actress Kate Bosworth, his co-star in the upcoming “Straw Dogs.” The kiss he gave her onstage when she presented his award looked more lusty than friendly and onlookers said they were holding hands in the green room. That’s one hot couple!
