The guys were dressed to the nines for last night’s GQ Gentlemen’s Ball in New York City last night, but it was the ladies who stole the show.
Ashton Kutcher and fellow Gentlemen’s Fund ambassadors Adrian Grenier and Mark Wahlberg hosted GQ’s Gentlemen’s Ball last night at the Edison Ballroom in Manhattan. “The Gentlemen’s Fund is about ordinary men doing extraordinary things,” said GQ publisher Peter Hunsinger. “In these times when resources contract, needs escalate, and I am pleased that our sponsors and celebrity ambassadors are bringing awareness to our readers and finding ways for men to give back.”Also in attendance were Akon, Josh Lucas, Emmy Rossum (wearing Salvatore Ferragamo), Chanel Iman and Olivia Palermo.
Ashton Kutcher might have been an ambassador, but Demi Moore had all eyes on her and her marvelous cocktail dress. Moore looked absolutely stunning in a Prabal Gurung Spring 2010 black and white brush painted rose silk twill gazar hand draped dress with back cascade. The overall look was sheer perfection!
This isn’t the first time Demi has donned Prabal Gurung’s divine creations on the red carpet. Uber stylist Rachel Zoe is a huge fan of Gurung and since Demi is her client, it’s no surprise she’s worn Prabal Gurung to major events.

Demi wore a Prabal Gurung Fall 2009 asymmetrical black dress with cream stripes to Cartier’s 100th Anniversary in America Celebration. She also wore a luxe feathered dress by Prabal Gurung to an event in Paris for her new fragrance. Upon tweeting a picture of herself, her loyal followers wanted to know who designed it. She responded immediately, saying the dress was by “wonderful young designer to look out for Prabal Gurung!”

Prabal Gurung has become one of my favorite designers to watch and his Spring / Summer 2010 presentation took my breath away. Among the crème-de-la-crème of magazine editors and fashion elite was Rachel Zoe, who got a one-on-one walk through by Prabal himself. After seeing her gush over the brilliant collection, I knew it would only be a matter of time before her clients were photographed in his fabulous garments.
