Rihanna is ready to spill about Chris Brown and will be speaking out for the first time about his assault on her this week on ABC.
Diane Sawyer will sit down for a one-on-one interview with Rihanna which will air Thursday and Friday on “Good Morning America” and Friday evening on the news magazine show “20/20.” “He was definitely my first big love,” she told Sawyer.

The night of the attack
Rihanna’s ABC interview coincides with the debut of her new single, “Russian Roulette,” from her upcoming album, “Rated R.” It’s her first CD since 2007′s multiplatinum “Good Girl Gone Bad.”
Chris Brown’s attack on then-girlfriend Rihanna occurred on February 8 after a Grammy Awards pre-party. In August he was sentenced to five years’ probation, six months of community labor and a year of domestic violence counseling after he pleaded guilty to felony assault.
In a pathetic attempt to discuss what happened on the night in question, Chris Brown has used the media, YouTube and Twitter to discuss what happened on the night of the attack. After a disastrous August 31 appearance on Larry King (in which he claimed not to remember the assault), Brown, who begins a “fan appreciation” tour Nov. 14, finally talked about the incident in an interview with New York radio station Hot 97 last month. “At the end of the day, I’m human,” he said. “Of course you’re gonna have your thoughts and opinions. I’m not gonna say they’re wrong. But at the end of the day, it’s not right to judge someone. People make mistakes all the time. At the end of the day, I’m sorry for what I did, whatever it is,” Brown said. “Only me and shorty know what went down in the car, it’s between us.”
Rihanna, born Robyn Fenty, has been somewhat of a recluse since the incident occurred. Sawyer conducted the interview over the weekend at a downtown hotel, according a source.
