While Rihanna is off proving again and again how strong she is, and finally coming out about the incident, her now ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown is talking on MTV.

It’s as if this has turned into a competition for spotlight. Chris Brown is set to air his own segment the same day ex, Rihanna, plans to open up about the assault. No surprise he wants the attention to himself.

Following his classy style, Brown has arranged a taped segment with his version of what happened, that with air on, MTV. It will play this Friday, the same day Rihanna will appear on the reputable “20/20”.

A snippet of the MTV interview with Sway, shows Brown’s signs of remorse saying, “My thoughts is like, ‘Why did it happen?’ like ‘What was I thinking?’ ‘What is wrong with you?’” Yet his signs of sorrow don’t last long as he continues with, “My thoughts basically now is just, ‘Ok, how do we get past it?’”

The half-hour MTV special will begin at 6 PM Friday, following Riana’s second airing.

Amidst the recent reveals, both artists have new albums coming out. Rihanna’s “Rated R” on Nov. 20 and Chris’ “Graffiti” on Dec. 8.
