Last night I returned from a fabulous 9-day trip to Paris, France and have oh-so much to report from fashion to food, but I thought I’d start out with the iconic image most often associated with France: the Eiffel Tower.

As an avid photographer, I take thousands of photos when traveling, but prefer the security of standing behind the lens and not in front of it. Out of the 1,600 photos from France, I can safely say I am in about 15. But when it came to France’s most iconic image I knew I’d have to step out and strike a pose. Who wouldn’t want their photo in front of the Eiffel Tower?

Knowing a photo in front of such a historic landmark would be added to my wall of travels (Egypt, Greece, and Italy to name a few) and evoke years of memories, I planned ahead to ensure the perfect outfit that would photograph well and actually keep me warm while hitting the Parisian streets and marches (markets).
