Shortly after my departure for Paris I saw an email stating that Taylor Jacobson, the bleach-blond, styling associate from “The Rachel Zoe Project,” announced in an e-mail that she is leaving Rachel Zoe Corporation. I COULD DIE!

20091106_taylorjacobson_250x375“After four amazing years at Rachel Zoe Corporation, I’m saddened and exhilarated at the same time to announce my departure. After much thought and consideration, I have decided to take the challenging leap to go off and style on my own.” Jacobson followed the e-mail with a post on her Twitter account, “Today is an end of an era and a beginning of a new professional chapter. Looking forward to what the future brings…!!!”

Taylor is best known for her outspoken personality, which often leads to battles tension with associate stylist Brad Goreski. For the past two seasons, The Zoe Camp has endured numerous blow ups by. Taylor never hid the fact that she wasn’t happy at her job and felt she was above the responsibilities of a junior stylist. On her blog, Taylor vented about her frustration with Zoe saying, “I can’t believe Rachel said I’m just talk! Maybe if she thinks that, she should take initiative and be a boss and recognize that as an employee I want to grow. And she should reward me with A. a bonus B. a promotion and C. take into consideration that I don’t want to be a F’ing assistant FOREVER.”

The season ended with Taylor landing a new role as part of Rachel Zoe’s growing merchandise business.

“Taylor Jacobson is no longer with Rachel Zoe, Inc,” a rep for Zoe confirmed but wouldn’t comment on the terms of her departure. Even though Jacobson said it was her decision to leave, others say she was fired. Whatever the issue, the reasons for her departure remain unclear.

FabSugar spoke with Taylor this week, and though she didn’t divulge details about her departure, she has a positive outlook on life. Taylor, who described her own style as “ladies who lunch with an edge,” talked about her excitement to branch out on her own saying, “I look forward to exploring styling on my own and the new opportunities and experiences it is going to bring.” She went on to say, “At this point I’m entertaining all ideas. I am walking into this new chapter with an open mind.”

Glad she is gone! Who is going to want her to style them? She hates the award season, she said she hated the Oscars. If I was a star I would want a stylist that respects my work and yes events where they acknowledge my work for the year. She was always complaining and just a sourpuss!

Thank goodness Taylor is gone.. she was such a biatch and so unkind to Brad and others. She was a HUGE downer and I for one and happy to see she has departed. She would have hurt your business eventually. You and Roger deserve a good life together without that anger and mean-ness. You Go Rach!!!

    Love you guys!!!
