Ryan Seacrest twittered the following after his interview with “Twilight: New Moon” actor Robert Pattinson was rudely interrupted: “Robert pattison is class act however the rep he was with yanked him off the air and off the mic when I asked about kristen. Unreal!”

ROBERT PATTINSON was literally yanked out of the chair by his angry publicist from answering a question during an interview with Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet of the “New Moon” premiere on Monday night in Los Angeles.

The “Twilight: New Moon” actor was being interviewed by American Idol presenter and E! Red-Carpet host RYAN SEACREST for his hugely popular radio show. Ryan asked: “What do you say to your fans who are desperate to know about you and your co-star Kristen? What can you tell them about it?” In the video, the interview comes to a screeching halt as Rob’s overbearing publicist gives Ryan a cut-throat sign in an attempt to stop him prying. But Ryan sticks to his guns and refuses to back down so she literally grabs Pattinson by the arm to remove him from the interview.

“You can’t ask that question to the guy about his co-star? It’s his co-star. It’s a fair question. I was just cut off for the first time ever.”

As the two barter live over the airwaves, Robert laughs nervously and pretends to be interested in anything but the bickering pair. While his publicist is busy shouting “let’s go”, Robert says: “The only thing I can say to them is watch New Moon. It’s amazing.”

Rob did shake hands with Seacrest to prove there’s no hard feelings, but it’s become ridiculous with all the tip-toeing around this topic. I mean., they are co-stars and happen to be promoting a movie together. Geez!
