Are you ready to fall in love with Robert Pattinson all over again? Then check out the new trailer for “Remember Me.”

I attended a 10:30am screening of “Twilight: New Moon” today, which was so bizarre considering I drank my morning coffee while watching a blockbuster film (not something I usually do). But it was the only time I could actually get a ticket for premiere day and I figured it would be better than battling the hordes of Twi-hards who are certain to be out in force tonight.

During the previews, I saw the first trailer for Robert Pattinson’s next movie, “Remember Me,” and it was fantastic. If you recall, this was the movie he filmed in NYC over the summer when his security detail failed him and he was ambushed by fans. Luckily he survived, but I never paid any attention to the actual film until now.

Robert Pattinson is brilliantly cast as a dreamy and handsome Tyler in “Remember Me.” Tyler, who lives in New York City, is a rebellious young man who has a strained relationship with his father and tries to break every rule. He thought no one could possibly understand what he was going through until the day he met Ally through an unusual twist of fate.

I’ve been curious to see Pattinson flex his acting chops in movies outside the “Twilight” franchise to see if he is the real deal, and from what I saw today I can certainly say he’s got the goods.

The film, which also stars Pierce Brosnan and Emilie de Ravin, hits theaters in March 2010
