Did Nicole Kidman get carried away powdering her nose for the “Nine” premiere in NYC last night?

Nicole Kidman never fails to impress on the red carpet. The Australian beauty never seems to leave the house without looking perfect and when she attends a premiere, she oozes movie star glamour with goddess dresses and flawless makeup.

That why it’s so shocking that at last nights New York City premiere of “Nine,” Kidman appeared with large amounts of white powder around her nose and under her eyes. Did the actress had suffered a ‘make-up malfunction?’

Giving new meaning to powdering my nose, it appears that Kidman’s makeup artist failed to blend her cosmetics perfectly as loose white face powder was clearly visible on her nose and under her eyes. What baffles me is how did her team (hair stylist, publicist, manager, etc) let her attend the premiere with such a make-up faux pas. Of course, the bright lights of the paparazzi are brutal and accentuate her powdered nose, but there is so much of it scraped across her face that it looks like she stuck her face straight into a bag of coke.

The mother-of-three had clearly put a lot of effort into looking chic on the star-studded red carpet, which is why it’s so disappointing that her powdery look overshadowed her stunning black embellished Prada dress.
