This is the first official image from the up and coming the Joan Jett biopic “The Runaways.” Holy Rocker Chic Hotness!
Kristen Stewart stars as Joan Jett along with “Twilight: New Moon” co-star Dakota Fanning as Cheri Currie in the new movie “The Runaways.” The movie focuses on their teenage lives, Kristen (guitarist/vocalist Joan Jett), and Dakota (vocalist/keyboardist Cherie Currie) as they tour, deal with record label issues and handle an abusive manger.
When I saw the newly released image of the duo from the movie I had to do a triple take. The pair completely transformed into their characters, shedding anything previously associated with the way they look. Stewart rocks a dark and edgy mullet, while Fanning is sporting heavy makeup (me likie) and a shaggy do. Both ladies look 70’s chic.

The movie is set for release in March 2010, after getting picked up by Apparition.
