Here is the first look of Chanel’s Spring / Summer 2010 ad campaign starring supermodel Claudia Schiffer as well as models Freja Beha Erichson and Karl Lagerfeld muse Baptiste Giabiconi.

In October, Claudia Schiffer and Karl Lagerfeld were spotted on the campaign shoot in Buenos Aires with models Freja Beha Erichsen and Baptiste Giabiconi. Proving that she put the super in supermodel, Schiffer strikes a pose in head-to-toe Chanel, working a black lace dress, quilted Chanel purse and a gorgeous gaucho hat, a traditional wardrobe staple in Argentina.

On location, Schiffer was seen wearing a black velvet Chanel structured jacket paired with a deco-inspired skirt and gaucho hat.

Considering the Spring / Summer 2010 fashion show was set in a barnyard complete with hay-bails, I am surprised that the inspiration of this ad campaign is more South American chic than milkmaid. But as usual, the elegant black and white photographs coupled with the stunning array of Chanel attire results in sheer perfection.
