HOLY AFRO!
Knitwear is what designer Sonia Rykiel does best and her capsule collection for H&M will not disappoint.
Sonia Rykiel‘s second (and highly anticipated) collection for H&M will debut in stores on February 20th. Following the lingerie line which included boudoir-style evening wear, the new knitwear pieces are classic Parisienne chic French and distinctly Rykiel.
Cheap and cheerful, Rykiel’s latest collaboration with H&M packs a punch of bold colors that will hit stores at the perfect time – the dead of winter. While snow and ice dominate our lives and moody grays become the uniform of stylistas, the Rykiel collection will provide a much needed jolt of energy into our wardrobes during the cold winter months.
Classic stripes dominate the collection in a rainbow array of hot hues and are mixed with adorable jumpers, dotted leggings, sailor shorts (best saved for Spring) and punchy pink separates.
One standout piece is a marigold yellow dress with short flowing skirt and matching skinny belt. Bound to turn heads in such a vibrant shade of yellow, the feminine and flirty dress has a studded bib collar detail and ruffle trim. I love it!
Rykiel also gives a nod to her fabulous home city with a “Sonia Rykiel Paris” knit top and matching tote bag featuring a super-cute crown logo.
Red afro wigs not included

this is kind of unrelated, but i love those wedges the model is wearing! do you know who makes them? i’ve been looking for simple black leather ones you can wear year round…
