Bid on Britney’s Dress and More Star Style Items to Benefit Haiti

On the heels of last weekend’s Hope for Haiti telethon, stars continue to rally for the relief effort, this time opening up their closets for the cause.

Britney Spears will be auctioning off one of the two shimmery silver Versace dresses she wore to the MTV Video Music Awards in 2008. After her public meltdown, the dress was worn during Britney’s comeback performance and took home three moon-men in the process.

Various property and assets belonging to the pop star, much of which was from the Circus tour, will also be auctioned off.  “She is very enthusiastic about making a donation for the Haiti relief,” her lawyer, Samuel Ingham said.

And she’s not the only star who’s opening her closet to benefit the earthquake-stricken country.

CharityBuzz (charitybuzz.com) is hosting a Heal Haiti Auction, with proceeds benefitting OxFam International’s Haiti Relief Program, which includes a Chloe dress worn by Kate Bosworth, a Stella McCartney gown worn by Liv Tyler, and a costume worn onstage by Lady Gaga.

Kate Bosworth is putting up for grabs the super-chic, size-2 pleated halter dress by Chloe she wore to the Food Bank of New York City’s annual Can-Do awards gala last year.

This incredibly feminine pleated dress, with ruffle neckline and jewel encrusted belt,  comes with a letter signed by Kate documenting authenticity of the dress.

The dazzling Stella McCartney sequined gown worn by Liv Tyler at the Metropolitan Museum Ball is also on the auction block.

The interior lining of the size 6 garment has been signed by the Liv, making it a truly unique piece.

One of Lady Gaga‘s outrageous costumes from her recent concert performance – signed by the Lady herself – is certain to cause a stir.
