Grammys Hottest Accessory: MINX NAILS! Beyonce, Rihanna, Keri Hilson

February 3rd, 2010 · 4 Comments

The hottest accessory at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night was the coveted statuette, but something else that went in your hand: MINX NAILS.

It was ladies night at this years Grammy Awards and the best dressed artists all chose Minx for their nails. Forget a Grammy Best New Artist or Album of the Year, what we were most looking forward to at this year’s Awards was the fabulous fashion ensembles and the ladies didn’t disappoint from head to toe..

Beyonce Knowles scooped six awards – a record for a female artist – and hit the red carpet in a Stéphane Rolland Fall 2009 bandage gown, wore a killer black Versace Atelier leather mini-dress for her electrifying performance, and shined in a show-stopping Giorgio Armani Privé chain metal mini-dress to accept her awards.

Even with three different costume changes, one thing remained the same: Beyonce was wearing a special edition Golden Hologram Minx nails, applied by New York celebrity manicurist Lisa Logan who flew to California to do Beyonce’s nails for the Grammy awards. Logan also Minxed Beyonce’s nails for the Beyonce/Lady Gaga music video that was filmed on January 29.   In addition to Beyonce, the special edition Minx Golden Hologram nails have also been sported by glamazons Jennifer Lopez and Fergie.

Rihanna, who was a vision in white dressed in an open back crepe gown with chiffon applique and feather detailing at the bodice from Elie Saab, also wore customized “Minx Money” nails, applied by LA-based manicurist Kimmie Kyees

Best New Artist nominee Keri Hilson had me bewitched when she hit the red carpet in a spectacular pink Dolce & Gabbana strapless mermaid gown that hugged every curve before floating out into a trumpet skirt.

Her jewel encrusted waistline was accented by the bling on her hand: Neil Lane diamond cluster ring and Minx Tease Me White and Silver, applied by nail technician Athena Elliott.

Athena also Minxed Grammy attendees La La Hathaway and Priscilla Renaie.

The high-art nail fashion that you’ve seen on the hottest celebs in sparkly metallic’s and bold graphic prints  is courtesy of Minx.

Minx has revolutionized the way we do our nails and resurrected nail art by injecting a much needed dose of over-the-top glamour and originality.

The decals are made of foil-like coverings which are applied to clean, buffed nails and only require heat lamps to seal the design.

In addition to the fabulous assortment of nail art available, Minx is actually good for your nails, requires no dry time and won’t damage your nails.

The end result is nails that appear to have been dipped in liquid gold, or silver.

Minx has become the manicure-du-jour for celebrities, singers, actresses, and was even worn by models in the Alexander McQueen Spring 2010 show during Paris Fashion Week.

Celebrities such as Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, Eve, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Fergie, Lady Gaga, Victoria Beckham, Christina Aguilera, Pink, Lily Allen, Kelly Clarkson, Heidi Klum, Paris Hilton and many more have been “Minxed.”

    Hey Athena-

Keri was by far the BEST DRESSED of the night and the fact that she had Minx on her nails was the cherry on top. Please keep me in the loop about the Oscar’s and any other fabulous designs you do.

    Thanks

    Chrissy

Minx said that the golden hologram is not their product. So who produces them?
