Its strange to think that someone could get paid to sit in the front row of fashion shows, but as it turns out, many celebrities do.

Many of us are lucky to even get a standing spot to view some of the top designer shows, much less a sitting one. 99.9% of the time its for free, or at a cost to us, not to the designers.

This is not so for our well-known A-Listers. Celebrities are able charge a label that wants them at their show, and some of the prices are crazy.

Fashion loving Rihanna can earn up to $100,000 just for showing her face. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are reported to earn upwards of $80,000 a piece. Chloe Sevigny earns about $60,000. Meanwhile, LiLo has dropped a little. She used to get $60,000 but has since been removed from the list altogether.

Why waste the money on celebrity appearances when the economy is struggling. Shouldn’t the A-Listers appear for the mere fact that they are a fan of the designer, just like the rest of us?
