Just in time for the Oscars, Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani is hosting an exhibition to showcase 30 unforgettable red carpet designs worn by top starlets.
Giorgio Armani is considered by many the grandfather of red carpet dressing since he started building relationships with starlets such as Michelle Pfeiffer and Jodie Foster as early as 1989. This exhibition will allow you to see the dresses up close and personal
Included in the exhibit will be Lady Gaga’s sparkly gown from this year’s Grammy Awards, the romantic black lace confection that Penelope Cruz wore to last month’s Golden Globes, the midnight blue strapless number that Anne Hathaway donned at the 2009 Golden Globes and Alicia Keys’ stunning pink 2009 Oscar gown.
The gowns will be on display at the Armani NYC flagship (717 Fifth Avenue, 212-207-1902) from March 5 until March 21.
