DWTS executives have finally announced this seasons star line-up which is set to premiere following The Bachelor finale.

DWTS has grown quite a bit in popularity through the years. Its credited for many spectacular transformations from physical to mental, including the recent weight loss of Kelly Osbourne.

The line up includes, The Bachelor’s Jake Pavelka, Olympic gold medalist Evan Lysacek, ESPN’s Erin Andrews, astronaut Buzz Aldrin, NFL  star Chad Ochocinco, Pussycat Dolls’ frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger, Jon & Kate Plus 8′s Kate Gosselin, Reno 911!’s Niecy Nash,  All My Children’s Aiden Turner, the original 90210’s Shannen Doherty, and Bay Watch alum Pamela Anderson.

Perhaps the most surprising addition is the famed mom of 8, Kate Gosselin and 80 yr old Buzz Aldrin. Kate appeared on Good Morning America with her dancing professional, Tony Dovolani. They discussed plans for training and she said that she will train for the show in her basement so she can stay close to kids. She also hope that it will inspire her children to “do your best, never quit.”

On the other hand, if you were around in 1969 you may remember this guy. Astronaut Buzz Aldrin was the second man to set foot on the moon following the well known Neil Armstrong. Clearly he is into making history as he will be the oldest DWTS contestant ever on the show. Will he be merging the two into a moon-walking waltz?

As for the others, talk about a wild cast! The night we see Jake reveal his woman of choice, we will see him dance. And there i no doubt Ochocinco’s Mr. Tough attitude will carry over. Maybe he will convince his partner to change her last name too?

Tune in on March 22 as the tenth series begins. If you haven’t followed the show before, this may just be the season to watch.
