Wearing blood red dresses, and matching cherry stained lips, the lovely ladies of Twilight: Eclipse vamped it up for the July issue of Vanity Fair.

Five vampires (Dakota Fanning, Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene, Elizabeth Reaser, Bryce Dallas Howard) and one lone lady werewolf (Julia Jones) posed in a stunning spread, each wearing a spectacular designer dress. All of the girls look amazing, but Dakota Fanning stands out in a retro hairdo and Prabal Gurung Fall 2010 lame gown with black satin underlay.

The five young actresses have a lot to look forward to as the release of the new Twilight film “Eclipse” quickly approaches. “You don’t have to be psychic to know how this movie’s going to do. Obviously it’s going to be a hit,” said Greene, who plays Edward’s sister, Alice.

Howard, the daughter of director Ron Howard, is new to the franchise as the replacement for vampire-with-a-vengeance Victoria: “I had seen Twilight innumerable times. After I saw it for the fourth time, one of my best guy friends, for my birthday, made me Post-it notes with Robert Pattinson’s face that said, ‘Live Dangerously,’ because I was so obsessed. My husband actually said to me, ‘Do I need to be worried about this?’”.

Eclipse (finally) opens in theaters on June 30.

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and Dakota Fanning all sat down with Oprah Winfrey and an audience full of the biggest “Twilight” fans to discuss the latest installment of the hit vampire story, fame, and who’s dating who.

One segment features Twilight super-fan Maria Mele getting the surprise of a lifetime when Robert Pattinson appeared at her doorstep.

After missing out on tickets to the show Mele agreed to be interviewed by Winfrey via Skype, but just when she thought they were going to talk to Oprah via webcam, Pattinson walked into her house, prompting her daughter Rosanna to start crying, while her son, Giuseppe, “was frozen.”

“[My family and I] all lost it,” Mele said about the Tuesday night surprise visit from the British actor. “[We were] screaming like a bunch of maniacs. We were all amazed that he was in our house.”

Rob stayed for about 10 minutes and “was great,” Mele says, “so nice. Funny. And so tall! He was beautifully flawless and a great sport.”

In the end, Mele and her family did get to attend the taping – with reserved seats. “It’s something we will never forget,” says the Twi-Hard mom. “I have to say although Oprah and Robert were great, hearing my kids say ‘thanks for making this happen’ [was] absolutely priceless.”

Previews for the episode show Winfrey asking the question that’s on everyone’s mind: Are Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson dating?  While the co-stars brush off the claim as gossip, it turns out Oprah already had the scoop.

The talk show queen managed to pull a confession out of the secretive pair when they taped the episode, but mysteriously the cameras weren’t rolling. A source who works for Oprah said RPattz and KStew came to an agreement with Winfrey: She wouldn’t press them on their romantic status during the show – if they told her the truth ahead of time.

“Obviously Oprah had to ask something during the taping, but agreed beforehand she wouldn’t be too hard on [Rob and Kristen] if they told her what was really going on,” the source said. “Both Rob and Kristen’s people and [film studio] Summit then confirmed ahead of time [Rob and Kristen] are together and are dating. One hundred percent.”

In the final movie trailer for “Twilight: Eclipse” we got a sneak peek into the engagement ring that Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) will present to his lady love Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan).

The ring, described in Stephenie Meyer’s bestselling books as being Victorian in style, is simply stunning and features an oval face set with diamonds.

In the book, Meyer describes the ring saying:

“The face was a long oval, set with slanting rows of glittering round stones. The band was gold — delicate and narrow. The gold made a fragile web around the diamonds.”

Considering the elegant shape and classic style of this brilliant ring, I’d actually love to own one. Oddly enough, now you can.

TWIHARDS REJOICE! Stephenie Meyer will launch a new “Twilight” inspired book in June, mere days before the release of “Eclipse” in theaters.

Stephenie Meyer, author of the hugely successful “Twilight” teen vampire romance series will release her first new title in two years stemming from a character from her “Eclipse” novel.

“The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella,” will be released on June 5 in the United States and Britain book publishers said on Tuesday.

The 192-page novella focuses on newborn vampire, Bree, who is introduced in the third “Twilight” novel, “Eclipse” and is played in the movie by supporting actress Jodelle Ferland.

The story chronicles the journey of villain Victoria’s and her newborn vampire army, including Bree, as they hunt down Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson).

On her official site, Meyer says she never intended to publish Bree Tanner as a stand-alone book and that was just something she’d started working on while she was still editing Eclipse. “I was thinking a lot about the newborns, imagining their side of the story, and one thing led to another.”

Meyer liked the idea of publishing it before Eclipse hits theaters, to give fans an introduction to Bree. She also considered the novella a gift to devoted Twilight readers, which is why she asked her publisher to make it available for free online.

The book will be released at 12:01 a.m. on June 5 in hardcover ($13.99, with $1 from each sale going to the American Red Cross International Response Fund). From June 7 to July 5, fans will be able to read the book for free online at www.breetanner.com.

The Twilight Saga won two awards at last night’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles: Taylor Lautner won Favorite Movie Actor while Jacob Black and Bella Swan, played by Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart, took home the award for Favorite Cutest Couple, beating out Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and Bella Swan.

Taylor Lautner was on hand to accept his award saying “I have to admit I have always dreamt of winning one of these orange blimps.”

Jackson Rathbone who plays the role of Jasper Hale and was promoting his new film The Last Airbender, attended the event with Twilight cast member Nikki Reed, who plays the role of Rosalie Hale.

Nikki Reed hit the orange carpet in a strapless Cynthia Steffe Spring 2010 floral minidress with a sweetheart neckline and asymmetrical tiers.

The dress was pretty, but her accessories were killer: Jimmy Choo Nina Patent Sandals and a silver Salvatore Ferragamo clutch.

Earlier this month we FINALLY got our first glimpse of the third installment in the “Twilight” series, “Eclipse,” with a spectacular movie trailer that left Twihards salivating for more. Now the official movie poster has arrived stating, “It all begins… with a choice.”

When we left off with “Twilight: New Moon”, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black were both vying for the love of Bella Swan. In “Eclipse”, Bella is left with a choice: Turn into a vampire and live for eternity with heartthrob Edward or lead a human life with best friend, and secret crush, Jacob.

After the long overdue, yet final admittance of the twilight star romance between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart last week, the pair has started to make appearances together.

Robert was looking quite sly, even flashing a smile, at the New York Premiere of the indie film, ‘Remember Me’ at Paris Theater, Monday night. On his arm was his beautiful Australian co-star, Emilie de Ravin.

Not too far behind, rumored girlfriend, Kristen Stewart appeared to show support for her guy, sporting her classic rocker-disheveled-chic look.

Robert seems to be embracing his stardom, (Finally) as he happily greeted his fans and failed to hide his face as the paparazzi flashed their photos.

The Sunday before the premier the ‘Twilight’ duo were spotted with a few friends at Tribeca’s Laconda Verde showing some PDA. A fellow diner said, “Robert and Kristen sat really close together and kept touching and rubbing each other’s arms as if no one else was around. They definitely appeared to be an item.”

Although they weren’t photographed together at the premiere, its pretty clear that the two are opening up about the secret romance. This must come as a sigh of relief for fans, now that the suspense is over.

ATTENTION TWI-HARDS: Next Saturday the 13^th, has been dubbed Twilight Saturday. All fans are to attend the showing of ‘Remember Me’ in support of the ‘Twilight’ heartthrob. Seriously, if you don’t show up, your Twilight loyalty will be at stake.

Summit To Show 1st Twilight Eclipse Trailer During ‘Remember Me’ Movie

Twihards rejoice! According to Summit Entertainment’s Twitter page, they are releasing the very first movie trailer for “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” before Robert Pattinson’s new movie “Remember Me.”

On their “Twitter” page, they wrote, “The #EclipseTrailer will play with REMEMBER ME in theatres on March 12!”

As if getting a glimpse of RPatz wasn’t enough to drive fans to theaters on March 12, a sneak peek of the hotly anticipated third installment of the “Twilight” series is.

Meanwhile, stills from ‘Twilight: Eclipse’ are out featuring a hot and heavy makeup session between lovebirds Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and “vagina-hater” Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson). And if you’ve read the books you know the best has yet to come.
